Data on charging locations, laws and incentives comes from the Alternative Fuels Data Center, published by the U.S. Department of Energy. The data is provided as is. Neither the U.S. Department of Energy, the National Laboratory, nor EV Ready USA's use of it implies any endorsement of EV Ready USA by any of them, and none of them is responsible for the accuracy of what appears here.

The map

The state shapes on the map are drawn from the U.S. Census Bureau's cartographic boundary file, a federal work in the public domain. The shading is the charging counts above and nothing else. Alaska and Hawaii have their own pages but are not on the map.

What we keep off these pages

We license commercial mapping and business-listing data for our own internal work, and none of it ever shows up here. Public pages come from openly licensed public records only.

How old is this

The date beside each dataset is the real one. Chargers open and close and programs run out of money, so what you see here is what the record said on that day. Check anything you plan to rely on.

What we took off the page

Sometimes we can prove a program is dead and the public record has not caught up yet. We take the entry down instead of printing it with a warning. Here is each one and why.

• Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station Tax Credit (GA, AFDC entry 5182). Georgia EV Charging Station Tax Credit (O.C.G.A. 48-7-40.16). Repealed effective 2026-01-01 by the Georgia Economic Growth and Tax Relief Act of 2026 (HB 463, Section 4-6); Georgia DOR lists Credit 119 as repealed. Verified 2026-08-21, research/incentives-dossier.md. AFDC's record still reads as amended/live.

Typefaces

Public Sans, by the U.S. Web Design System, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. It is the only face on the site and it is served from here rather than a font network, so loading a page sends no request to any other server.
